YTC Project Safe Haven Women’s Shelter has been in operation since 1998
MISSION:
Project Safe Haven is a safe shelter established to address the immediate safety and support issues of women and children fleeing situations of domestic violence.
The Vision of Safe Haven is to provide care to our clients that are:

- Safety Planning
- Case Management
- Crisis Intervention
- Referrals
- Family Violence Education and Outreach
- Individual & Group Programming
- Presentations on Healthy Relationships, Life Skills, Traditional Parenting, Lateral Violence, and many other topics.
Family Violence Outreach Program
Our objective is to involve community members in implementing an accessible, comprehensive and coordinated approach to Family Violence Services in communities, including all forms of abuse, prevention and awareness presentations. The Family Violence Outreach worker is responsible to provide workshops, seminars and conduct meetings relating to Family Violence education, prevention, intervention, post-vention and related issues that stem from violent situations. The Family Violence Outreach worker coordinates training, conducts discussions with community agencies and resources.
